Fiona Ledden

City Solicitor – Manchester City Council

Fiona is currently president of the Law Society and has her background in Local Government, Fiona is the City Solicitor for Manchester City Council.

Between 2004 and 2008 Fiona worked in the London Borough of Sutton as Executive Head of Legal and democratic Services, moving then to the Greater London Authority to be Head of Law and procurement. In 2010 Fiona became Interim Borough Solicitor at the London Borough of Brent before becoming the Director of Legal and Procurement, a position which she held for 5 years.

In 2013 Fiona took the role as Assistant Director of Governance at Stoke on Trent City Council. Fiona joined Manchester City Council in June 2018 as the City Solicitor, and has not looked back being welcomed as an adopted Mancunian.
