Conditions of Booking

  • Your booking will be confirmed on the week commencing Monday 2nd June.
  • Cancellation of your tickets must be made in writing before Friday 13th June and will incur a 15% cancellation fee. Any cancellation made after this date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • You are welcome to send replacement guests at any time.
  • Payment must be made within 7 days of receipt of invoice.
  • If payment is not received before the event you may be refused entry.
  • Please inform us of any access or dietary requirements of your guests as soon as possible and by Friday 13th June at the latest by emailing mlawards@manchesterlawsociety.org.uk. We cannot guarantee any requests made after this date will be honoured.
  • Manchester Law Society reserves the right to cancel any event. In this case, the full fee will be refunded unless a mutually convenient transfer can be arranged. In the event that the Society postpones an event for any reason and the delegate is unable or unwilling to attend on the rescheduled date, they will receive a full refund of the fee paid or credit note.  Credit notes will be valid for six months from date of issue.
  • The Society is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/postponement of an event, this includes travel and accommodation expenses. The Society shall assume no liability whatsoever if this event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labour strike, extreme weather or other emergency.
  • The organisers do not accept liability for any injuries or losses of any nature incurred by delegates and/or accompanying persons, nor for loss or damage to their luggage and/or personal belongings.
