Alison has worked in Manchester for over 30 years and is a positive advocate for the business and legal community in the City and wider Northwest.

She currently focuses her time working with a discrete number of referrals and long-standing clients and enjoys providing strategic business and legal advice through her role as a consultant to Lockett Loveday McMahon Solicitors, or through her own business consultancy.

In addition, she spends her time supporting the Northwest business community-whether that be through her role as the Chair  of the business development organisation pro-manchester, acting as an ambassador on behalf of the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity which raises money for and promotes awareness of homelessness, or as a Trustee to the Wise Owl Trust , an ambitious and inclusive Multi Academy Trust.

Alison is, and always has been , a champion of equality in the workplace, recognising the importance of diversity and promoting health and well-being at work. In addition, she is keen to support the future generation of workers and is the joint chair of the pro-manchester Skills committee , promoting links between the workplace and schools /colleges/ and our Universities and working with various Mentoring programs.
